Pam created the Wild Roses scarves in con- junction with nationally-known artist Carol Wallace of Litchfield County, Connecticut. Pam's scarves are also available at www.pamspashminas.com or by appointment at her home boutique. 3 Lisa Abeles, Wellesley resident and president of Abeles & Associates Architects, Inc., was an honorary committee chair for the second annual garden party to benefit the gardens at Elm Bank. Abeles, who is a trustee of the Massachusetts Horticultural Society, said, "The event was a magical night of music, food, wine, garden tours, and a peek into the Manor House designed by Carrere and Hastings." She is pictured with Wellesley resident Lisa Gieger, who was a member of the steering committee for the event. 3 The Wellesley Historical Society held its annual fundraiser in May at the Wellesley Country Club. This year's theme was baseball and a panel discus- sion was held with Sam Kennedy, president of the Boston Red Sox, Richard Johnson, curator of the Sports Museum, and Tony Massarotti from 98.5 the Sports Hub.
