Believers feel this approach results in better matches. n OURTIME: This website is geared toward singles over 50 who are looking for all types of relationships, including marriage or travel companionship. n OKCUPID: The benefit of this site is that it has a large member base and, unlike the other sites mentioned, it's free. n RELIGIOUS-BASED SITES LIKE CHRISTIAN MINGLE AND JDATE.COM: If you are looking for like-minded Christian or Jewish matches, one of these could be the site for you. Online Dating Sites to Consider years, but has been divorced for 24 years, says she was looking for more than just to be in love. "As you get older, you need a companion more than a lover," she says. "You have to think about life, family, and health concerns." She says she enjoyed Match.com more than eHarmony, which she thought asked too many questions. However, she notes, when she put her picture on Match.com, she had so many responses, she ended up taking her profile down and just picking guys she thought she might be interested in. Ellen, who says she is five years younger on her profile because most men don't want to date a woman over 60, says she has some rules: Never offer to split the bill with a man; you should "expect a guy to treat you right;" don't sleep with anyone until you know them very well; and never use your real name and address right away. Others online have very different online dating rules. For example, some people say there is an unspoken expectation that a woman should sleep with a man after three dates. Whatever the rules or the outcome, all the locals we spoke with came to the same conclusion: "Do it. Give it a try," says Robert. "If you're looking for a relationship, go for it."
