When River Strong's 10-year old daughter Aviva returned from Eden Village, he noted that she was much more aware of her food choices and the value of gardening. When asked about the pace of summer camp, Aviva shared, "Connecting with nature is comforting. Instead of just glancing at what is around you, you really get to look. And when you look, there is so much more to see." Mark Cadman, Program Director at Camp Huckins in Freedom, New Hampshire, high- lights that camp greening should really start with education. Huckins is a camp that hosts over 1,400 girls each summer, and Cadman sees this as a tremendous opportunity.
