From 1993 to 2008, she operated Pepper Gallery in Weston. Flood said he is very glad he participated in the show and even brought his grandmother, who is 90, to the opening. "She was thrilled to come," says Flood. "It was just perfect for her." Gallery volunteers have been prepared for push-back from serious artists when they not only in, mockingly, an "old folks home" but also deep in the suburbs. But they stress that such is the nature of how demographics are changing.
