She began teaching students with Mason in 1986, and the pair has been bring- ing their enthusiasm to class ever since. "We never say 'we're going to work,'" Cole notes. "We say 'we're going dancing!'" With seven locations (including Dover, Sherborn, and Hingham), eight classes a week, and 50 to 100 kids per class, Cole and Mason need and applaud their team of teachers, which includes Lisa French and Doug Trudeau in Wellesley and Weston. French, who also owns and runs the ball- room dancing school South Shore Sociables, has been involved with Boston Assemblies at the Weston/Wayland location for 20 years.
