Doublet Hill Weston Weston Today Tom Selldorff, President of the WF&TA, shared some of his thoughts on Weston's open spaces. "The town has conservation land just about everywhere … and everybody has their own favorite place to walk. Cat Rock is very popular and has great views over Waltham and the Boston skyline. The climbing path from Hobbs Brook over rocks and through pine groves is especially fun for kids. Doublet Hill has great views to the east and south, taking one through Elliston Woods, a special place dedicated to Dr. William Elliston, a WF&TA founder and driving force behind the creation of the Town Forest back in 1955." For some wonderful views, Selldorff rec- ommends the Highland Forest where one can visit Sunset Corner that looks out to the Beebe Meadow 111 summer 2012 | WellesleyWeston Magazine BEBEE MEADOW BY ART DONAHUE ; POST BY BETH FURMAN
