Global Warming Affects Us All A new study published in the April 2015 issue of the journal Nature Climate Change links weather extremes to global warming and predicts the dangerous impact of continued global warming. The authors report that failure to bring greenhouse gases under control could lead to a 62-fold increase in heat blasts and a doubling of heavy precipitation. Citing examples, including the 2003 heat wave in Europe and the 2015 drought in California, the authors dispel any myths that climate change isn't everyone's problem or that it isn't real.
