Along with selling more contemporary and interesting vegetar- ian fare, many local markets and food businesses also want to answer your questions. "I'm impressed with the level of knowledge of our customers out there. People are absolutely intrigued and interested in eating a healthy, plant-based diet to maintain wellness," says Stacy Kennedy, MPH, RD, a Wellesley nutritionist and co-owner of Stacy's Juicebars in Needham. The business, co-owned by Stacy's pita chips founder Stacy Madison, specializes in a range of juice drinks made primarily from fresh fruits and vegetables, but also sells light fare including many vegetarian salads and sandwiches.
