S S S of the Chairs Three Weston teens are carving their way to national recognition. C A LV I N H E N N I C K writer for Hannah Kelsey, Greg Fligor, and Ryan Rosencranz, snowboarding isn't just a fun way to spend winter days with friends. "During the winter, I go to school, and I snowboard, and that's all I do," says Kelsey, 15. "I want to make sure I get better every single day I'm on the hill." Kelsey spends winters at a private school in New Hampshire, which We l l e s l e y We s t o n M a g a z i n e | w i n t e r 2 0 1 3 / 2 0 1 4 19, takes the winter quarter off at Denver University so he can keep up with his training. Fligor, 17, squeezes snowboarding into a schedule packed with other sports as he finishes up at Weston High, and he'll soon have to decide whether he wants to make the sacrifices necessary to continue competing. All three have already made noise in national snowboarding competitions.
