The new urban park space contributes to the city's cultural and green revitalization; encourages partnerships with local arts, educational, and cultural organizations; and offers free events to all. Jesse Brackenbury joined the Conservancy in December 2009 as its Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for oversight of park operations, programming, planning/ design, finance, and administration, as well revenue-generation initiatives including the carousel. Before working at the Greenway, Jesse was with The Boston Consulting Group.
