"Sometimes, people sell their family members with disabilities short, so we get people to 'risk hope' again and accomplish athletic feats," Lilley enthuses. "Virtually everyone who comes in to our program is surprised that they have more in the tank then they thought." Weston resident Debby Belichick puts it succinctly: "There are no pity parties at AccesSportAmerica." Belichick, who is an honorary board member of the organization, and her former husband Bill have made an indelible mark over the years through their active involvement in programs, fundraisers, and events.
